One of the largest exhibits of aircrafts and aerospace technology, Aero India Show is a most eagerly awaited event by the aviation industry and aerospace enthusiasts alike. The Aero India Show for the year 2007 is schedule to be held from February 7-11, 2007 in the 'Garden City' of Bangalore in Karnataka, India.

The event is suppose to take place at the Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bangalore, which is a large enough to accommodate the innumerable visitors and participants expected at the Aero India Show 2007.

The Aero India Shows are aimed at showcasing the latest technology in the aerospace and aviation sectors in India. The Show also works as a perfect meeting ground for both the suppliers and the prospective buyers of aviation products.

Aero India Show is one of the largest air exhibitions not only in India but also in the entire continent of Asia. The show takes place once in every two years in the city of Bangalore.

Since the very first Show in 1996, the event has gained immense momentum across India and abroad. The next Aero India Show in 2007 is the 6th edition of the event and hopes to be a grand success too.

The event offers to witness some of the finest civil and military aircrafts on display along with other allied services related to the aviation business. The Indian Air Force would also showcase its offerings at the event.

It is expected that the number of participants in Aero India Show 2007 would comprise around 500 exhibitors from some of the top-notch global producers of civil and military aircrafts as well as allied service providers from the aerospace and airfield upgrade sectors.

Hopes are also high to even break the previous records of the Aero India Show in 2005 wherein around 380 firms had taken part in the event. It is also estimated that the number of visitors to the Aerospace India Show of 2007 might go up to 1,50,000.

The Ministry of Defence in India organizes the Aero India Shows in affiliation with other similar Indian defence organizations such as Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), India Space Research Organization (ISRO), members from the armed forces headquarters in India, the Indian Council of Ministers, foreign military delegations and end users in the fields of civil aviation and airport maintenance.
